La Plata County Fairgrounds
The La Plata County Fairgrounds is located on 32 acres in the heart of Durango. The facility include a 10,000 square foot exhibit hall, 6 spacious meeting rooms, a rodeo arena that seats 1,600, a 33,000 square foot pavilion for livestock shows and exercising horses, 2 baseball fields and a picnic shelter that seats 60.
Annual events such as the La Plata County Fair and Fiesta Days celebrate our community’s rural southwestern lifestyle and are enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. The Fairgrounds features 6 Seasonal RV hook ups that can ONLY be reserved by calling us directly Monday through Friday 8am-5pm at (970) 382-6465. Please do not stay at our park if you arrive after hours without a reservation. Our RV Season is open from April to October.
Exhibit Hall
10,000 feet of event space, a 300 square foot alcove and a full service commercial kitchen with two 1,300 square foot meeting rooms upstairs. Video conferencing and WIFI available. A full service Commercial kitchen is also available to rent separately.
Extension Building
3,000 square feet of meeting space that can be divided into 3 separate rooms. Each room feature a built in Espon projector.
