2023 NEC Theory and Calculations Workshop
- We will be meeting at Gunnison County Fairgrounds.
- These CE hours are good in Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico.
- Check-in starts at 7:30 AM, class begins at 8:00 AM and continues until 5:00 PM.
- Lunch will be provided.
- $125 for an IAEI member and
- $150 for a non-member
- If you are not a member your extra $25 can be used toward a year-long IAEI membership.
- With your $25 applied you can get a membership for only $75 at the workshop!!
- There will be a $25 late fee for registration at the door.
- You will need to bring your 2023 code book
The following subjects will be included in the workshop:
- Basic electrical calculations to start the day, then
- Ohm’s law
- Watts wheel
- Box fill calculations
- Raceway fill calculations for several raceway types
- Motor calculations including several with multiple motors
- Grounding electrode conductor sizing
- Supply side bond sizing
- Sizing of equipment grounding conductor
- Residential load calculations
- Auxiliary gutter calculations
- Wireway calculations
- Grounded conductor sizing
- Ambient temperature calculations
- Feeder tap calculations
- Pull and junction box calculations
- Fire pump calculations to finish the day
The Rocky Mountain IAEI is a Colorado approved education provider.
